Senator John Marty thanks frontline workers on #WhoCaresForUs Day of Action

Saint Paul, Minn. – It’s been nearly 40 days since Governor Tim Walz took executive action by declaring a peacetime emergency to protect Minnesotans’ health and wellbeing. During these unprecedented times, essential workers have stepped up for our communities. Today’s #WhoCaresForUs Day of Action recognizes the sacrifices and effort made by workers in Minnesota. Senator John Marty issued the following statement:

“During these challenging times, frontline workers have been at the forefront of the COVID-19 battle, stepping up and helping in communities across the state.

On today’s #WhoCaresForUs Day of Action, I offer my gratitude for all the essential workers in Minnesota, who are ensuring and providing support to our communities during the Coronavirus pandemic. To the healthcare workers, caregivers, law enforcement, firefighters, grocery store workers, teachers, cleaning staff, truck drivers, and all of the other people working hard to keep us healthy, safe, and to keep society functioning – thank you! We appreciate you.”
