Senator Karla Bigham (DFL – Cottage Grove) announced today that she was elected as the Secretary of the Executive Committee for the National Council of Legislators From Gaming States (NCLGS). Sen. Bigham said she was recently elected by state legislators from across the country to serve on the executive committee for NCLGS.
“I am honored to hold this position and I look forward to continuing my work advancing public policy related to sports wagering,” said Senator Bigham. “NCLGS has been on the cutting edge of gaming issues and has helped lawmakers around the country keep pace with ever-changing laws around sports wagering and gaming.”
Karla Bigham represents District 54 in the southeast Twin Cities metro, including parts of Dakota and Washington counties.
