[ST. PAUL, Minn.] – Following the shooting death of a man by federal agents in South Minneapolis Saturday morning, Senator Ron Latz (DFL-St. Louis Park) released the following statement:
“I’m horrified by the events this morning in South Minneapolis. I urge Minnesotans to be safe and to respect the efforts of local and state law enforcement partners as they try to maintain the peace.
“With another Minnesotan now dead and mounting evidence of widespread abuses of constitutional and human rights by reckless federal agents, I’m calling on ICE to leave our state now before more people are hurt or killed.”
