Senator Ron Latz honored to receive the Minnesota District Judges Association President’s Award

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Senator Ron Latz (DFL-St. Louis Park) is honored to announce that he has received the prestigious President’s Award from the Minnesota District Judges Association. The award recognizes his outstanding efforts in strengthening the Judicial branch.

Judge Lois Conroy of the Fourth Judicial District and Immediate Past President of the MDJA had this to say: 

“Senator Latz has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to upholding the principles of justice, fairness, and integrity throughout his tenure in the Senate. As a practicing trial attorney, he has a sophisticated understanding of the complex challenges facing the Judicial branch. He has led on critical issues involving safety and funding. This award is a testament to his exceptional service and dedication to enhancing the effectiveness of the Judicial branch.” 

This MDJA President’s award is bestowed upon individuals who have gone above and beyond in their contributions. This award was presented to Senator Latz at the Minnesota District Judges’ annual conference on September 28, 2023. The Minnesota District Judges Association represents more than 300 judges across the state of Minnesota.
