(ST. PAUL, Minn.) – Following a series of recent shootings in Minneapolis and St. Paul, leaving 5 people dead and at least 15 people injured, Senator Ron Latz (DFL-St. Louis Park), Chair of the Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee, released the following statement:
“I am horrified by the senseless violence we have seen in recent days throughout our region. Each of these incidents is a shattering experience for the families and loved ones of the victims, and they leave our communities reeling in the aftermath. These tragedies further underscore the need for action on gun violence prevention, and the brutal cost of the status quo.”
