Senator Sandy Pappas issues statement on Saint Paul Shooting

Three men were wounded and one was killed in a shooting that took place outside a funeral home today in Saint Paul. In response, Senator Sandy Pappas (DFL – Saint Paul) released the following statement: 

“I extend my deepest condolences to the families and victims of this tragic incident. Words cannot adequately express the pain and suffering that these families and victims must be feeling as we lose yet another member of our community to senseless gun violence. I commend the law enforcement officials and first responders who swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the area and render aid to victims. This is a saddening and tragic loss for our community, and I remain committed to fighting gun violence and getting guns off the streets of Saint Paul.”
