ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senator Rob Kupec (DFL-Moorhead) released the following Statement today:
“Senator Mitchell has now gotten the due process she is entitled to, and has been found guilty by a jury of her peers. She has said she would resign if a guilty verdict were rendered, and I expect her to do so. This verdict also brings some closure to Carol Mitchell, who unfortunately has had to endure a lot. I plan to continue to focus on the issues that matter to Minnesota and to the people I represent.”
Senator Rob Kupec represents Senate District 4, which includes Becker and Clay County. He is vice chair of the Agriculture, Broadband, and Rural Development Committee, and serves on the Health and Human Services Committee, Higher Education Committee, and Labor Committee.
