Tip of the Week
A great Instagram starts with a great photo. Content is key when sharing on social media, even if your posts are image- instead of text-based. It can be fun to play with filters and captions, but the first stop in sharing a great Instagram post is taking a great photo. Here are a few guidelines:
- Be original. Any photo you’re sharing should be one you took – don’t ever steal a screen capture of someone else’s photo.
- Widen your reach. Hashtags are a great way to search for posts, but make sure they’re relevant to the content you’re sharing.
- Filter responsibly. Just because filters are there doesn’t mean you need to use them – sometimes the best Instagram is one with no filter at all. The #nofilter hashtag can help you show off your filterless photos.
