PAUL, Minn. – Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic (DFL-Minneapolis) and Senator Nick Frentz (DFL-North Mankato) said today that the historic clean-energy legislation Governor Walz signed into law Tuesday will put Minnesota on the path to 100 percent carbon-free electricity by 2040 and help ensure the state is a leader in fighting climate change and creating clean-energy jobs.
