Senator Rob Kupec’s Grain Indemnity Bill Heard and Passed in Agriculture, Broadband, and Rural Development Committee
ST. PAUL, Minn. — On Monday, Senator Rob Kupec’s (DFL-Moorhead) Grain Indemnity Bill was heard and passed in the Agriculture Committee. This bill would appropriate $15 million to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture for the establishment of a rainy-day fund for farmers if a grain elevator failure were to occur.
