Senator Dibble Bill to Support Homeless Youth, Adults and Families Heard in the Senate Health and Human Services Committee

ST. PAUL, Minn. – On Wednesday, the Senate Health and Human Services Committee heard legislation from Senator Scott Dibble (DFL-Minneapolis) to support adults, families and youth experiencing homelessness in Minnesota (SF 388). The Pathway Home Act legislation would expedite funding across the state for emergency shelter facilities and meeting the needs of homeless people.

Legislation to Fully Fund Homeless Youth Act Heard in Senate Human Services Reform Finance and Policy Committee

On Thursday legislation to put Minnesota on the path to fully funding the Homeless Youth Act (SF 3155) and end youth homelessness in Minnesota was heard in the Senate Human Services Reform Finance and Policy Committee. The legislation, a longtime priority of Chief Author Senator Scott Dibble (DFL-Minneapolis), would be a substantial down payment on providing the funding necessary to ensure every youth in Minnesota is able to find access to stable and supportive housing.
