SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic (DFL-Minneapolis)said the Senate has passed a historic public safety budget to keep Minnesota’s communities safe by investing $880 million in law enforcement, crime prevention, mental health services, youth intervention programs, and bolstering the state’s court system. It also includes proven gun violence prevention measures that are widely supported in Minnesota and across the country.
