Senator Judy Seeberger Votes Yes for Judiciary and Public Safety Conference Committee Report

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Senate passed the Judiciary and Public Safety Conference Committee Report in a 34-33 vote Friday, which includes $880 million in new funding for proven measures and policies to improve safety and reduce crime for Minnesota communities. Senator Judy Seeberger (DFL-Afton) served on the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee and on the conference committee to craft the final bill.

Governor Tim Walz signs Senator Judy Seeberger’s Refinery Safety Bill into Law

SAINT PAUL, MINN. – On Tuesday, Governor Walz signed into law Senator Judy Seeberger’s legislation requiring the use of skilled contractors at Minnesota refineries. The legislation will help prevent catastrophic accidents, protect workers, and ensure communities are kept safe. Senator Seeberger was in attendance as the bill was signed into law at the Steamfitters and Pipefitters Local 455 Headquarters.
