Toxic-free Kids

Legislation surrounding dangerous chemicals used in children’s products would appropriate almost $1.4 million to increase available information, enhance consumer awareness, and give product manufacturers incentives to reduce problem chemicals in consumer products. The bill would require manufacturers to disclose the use of “priority chemicals” in children’s products so consumers can make informed decisions.
